Adel Ferdosipour (Persian:عادل فروسی پور ; born 2 October 1974, Tehran, Iran), is an Iranian journalist, translator, football commentator and television show host and producer. He is the host and producer of the popular TV show: Navad (i.e. ninety in Persian language, with reference to standard duration of an association football match). The TV show “Navad” has been on air for 14 years now. His parents are from Rafsanjan, a town in Kerman province. He is an alumnus of Sharif University of Technology & a lecturer of professional language. He is claimed to be a Perspolis fan, although it is difficult to predict from his comments. Adel is a close friend to Ali Daei as they both attended the same university. He is a member and the captain of celebrities team in Iran.

Popularity

Adel is very likable between the people of Iran, because of his honesty, being straight forward, and even questioning and disagreeing with high authority officials. His show on Monday nights, has an audience of over 10 million. Newsweek Magazine considered Ferdosipour among 20 powerful persons of Iran in 2009 because of his widespread popularity.

او پایه‌گذار، تهیه‌کننده و مجری برنامهٔ ۹۰ که از شبکه ۳ سیمای جمهوری اسلامی ایران پخش می‌شود نیز هست. در سال ۲۰۰۹، هفته‌نامۀ نیوزویک او را در فهرست پرقدرت‌ترین افراد در ایران در ردۀ نوزدهم جای داد. مجله ورلد ساکر به او لقب «جان ماتسن ایران» داده‌است.
